The following set of principles of Nuvalu Sp. z o. o. Sp. k. (“Nuvalu”) was prepared based on the current activities of the organization, the values that Nuvalu has been implementing from the beginning. This document was created as a consequence of the continuous development of the organization, its purpose is to present the principles and guidelines of conduct for both employees and associates, clients, contractors and partners. The rules described below apply to both Nuvalu and all subsidiaries, affiliates and branches regardless of location.
Nuvalu is a responsible company, a leader in the industry, therefore it feels obligated to be a model for other entities in the field of professed values and applicable rules of conduct. Compliance with them allows sustainable development of the organization and promotes the highest standards in the industry. The following principles do not exhaust the whole set of good practices, however they define the general course of action which should also be used in cases not mentioned below. References to “Rights” in the text below mean applicable law – laws, regulations, ordinances and ordinances.
ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY AND HONESTY
Nuvalu’s overriding goal is to conduct business in a transparent, honest and compliant manner. All forms of corruption, embezzlement, money laundering, scams and fraud are unacceptable. At each stage of the Nuvalu project, it ensures security for all transaction parties, emphasizing the principles of anti-corruption policy. All employees are obliged to comply with the provisions in the fight against corruption and must pay attention to any signs of breaking the provisions of the Law in this regard.
RULES OF FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE
All employees, associates, subcontractors, related companies and subsidiaries comply with the principles of fair competition, guided by the goal of providing services at the highest level, based on the substantive value of services. Thanks to the principles of fair business practice, Nuvalu emphasizes its place amongst leading companies in the industry which set the standards in business ethics. At any stage of the service process Nuvalu does not allow actions that are contrary to the principles of fair competition that may directly or indirectly violate the provisions of competition law or antitrust law.
NO CONFLICT OF INTEREST
All employees, subcontractors, related companies and subsidiaries avoid conflicts of interest at work, as well as situations that may appear conflicting. Employees and associates are loyal to the employer in this regard. All situations with signs of conflicts of interest should be immediately reported to superiors or other persons indicated in the company’s structure.
PROHIBITION OF DISCRIMINATION
Nuvalu is a workplace free from discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual identity, sexual preferences and other aspects as indicated by law. Employees, associates and subcontractors are required to strictly comply with this rule.
From the beginning, Nuvalu has been guided by the principle of sustainable development and environmental protection. We comply with all provisions of the law aimed at minimizing harmful effects on the environment, guided by the highest applicable standards. Through our work, we strive to promote knowledge in the field of ecology and sustainable development.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA AND SECURITY OF CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
By providing services throughout the country for entities from various industries, we always protect sensitive client data, contractors and partners by implementing regulations as requred by law, as well as by our internal communication and archiving systems. Each project is covered by an appropriate confidentiality clause, signed by each party to the process. Personal data and confidential information are monitored as part of an appropriate organizational structure, including ranking access to data by employee, associate and contractor hierarchy and role in the process.

Employees are of paramount value to Nuvalu, which is why we care about providing them with an appropriate working environment and conditions conducive to professional development.
